Meet the Librarians...

Catherine Stanton revels in being well rounded. She has danced with German and Middle East Troupes, had sculptures and watercolors featured in exhibits, performed throughout the western states on violin/fiddle, old English flute, and Celtic harp, sung classically in places like the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion and the Hollywood Bowl, directed countless plays (the Palm Springs theatre critic called her a genius), designed sets and costumes, but has not yet realized her life dream of singing a torch song while reclining on a grand piano. She currently manages adult non-fiction, adult programs, and an oregano forest. (Take home your own tree!) - And she’s always interested in swapping notes on great trails, strange birds, lace-making, blacksmithing . . .  Just don’t ask her about football.

Emily firmly believes that people should be able to subsist on grapefruit, chocolate, a good book, and Doctor Who episodes. Her lifelong ambition is to be one The Doctor's companions and travel through space and time saving the world. She thinks that Sherlock did not, in fact, die, Captain America is the best Avenger, and Prince Philip is on his way to take her to the ball. She loves Regency Romances and believes that a reformed rake really would make the best husband. She believes in fairies, pink, polka dots, and glitter. When she's not slaying her dragons, she is the Periodicals Librarian and a third-grade teacher. If you are awesome, she'd love to be your friend. DFTBA!

Betsy is a student at BYU-I studying Economics so that she can join the Peace Corps and save the world. When she was a child she spent 3 months living as a cat and still has her costume kitty cat ears displayed proudly in her home. She is also an expert on blowing bubbles and all things related to princesses, fairy tales, and anything to do with a tiara! You can find Betsy in the Junior section wearing bright colors and a name tag.

Terri treasures daily adventures with her soul mate hubby on 2 wheeled "mean machines." They traverse the trails of Rexburg with visions of one day riding off into the sunset in quest of the Fountain of Youth! When Terri isn't playing with books in the library (processing them) she is "playing Grandma" to her Grand- Lizard, Edgar and Grand-cats, Scout, Mila, Minx, Bagels, & Sis!
